Securing Tomorrow’s Embedded World
Techadria is developing the first commercially available CHERI-based secure microcontroller SoC—a breakthrough in embedded processor architecture that introduces hardware-enforced memory safety, spatial and temporal protection, and compartmentalization.
The SoC integrates a RISC-V CHERI-enabled CPU, designed in collaboration with Codasip, and includes key features such as secure boot, a true random number generator (TRNG), and hardened debug access. It is delivered on a dedicated development board, supported by open-source toolchains and firmware environments.
Our goal is to bring CHERI technology out of academic research and into real-world deployment—first through university programs and defense pilots, and later into industrial control systems, critical infrastructure, and secure IoT applications.
This project is aligned with the strategic priorities of NATO, the European Union’s Cyber Resilience Act, and Chips JU, reinforcing Europe’s sovereignty in secure, trustworthy microelectronics.
About our company
Techadria d.o.o. is a Slovenian deep-tech company pioneering secure microcontroller solutions based on the CHERI (Capability Hardware Enhanced RISC Instructions) architecture. We design and develop silicon systems that enforce memory safety at the hardware level—enabling embedded devices to resist entire classes of cyberattacks by construction.
Built on a foundation of European innovation, Techadria collaborates with leading institutions such as Codasip, the University of Ljubljana, Brno Technical University, and the global CHERI Alliance. Our work bridges academic research and industrial application, transforming cutting-edge processor architecture into practical, secure hardware for defense, industrial, and academic markets.
Our flagship product is a CHERI-enabled RISC-V microcontroller SoC with integrated secure boot, true random number generation (TRNG), and hardened debug—delivered with a companion development board and supported by open-source tooling. It is designed for dual-use deployment: from NATO-aligned secure communications and control systems to next-generation university teaching labs.
Techadria is headquartered in Ljubljana, Slovenia, in the heart of the Alpine-Adriatic region and operates as a vertically integrated design house. We are committed to advancing Europe’s strategic autonomy in secure computing and to making hardware-level memory safety accessible to industry, academia, and government.
